When you become a parent, there suddenly becomes so much more to do, and so much more to think about, seeing as you are now thinking for two. And with everything else that is going on when you have a little one, who wouldn't want to find a few shortcuts, or things that help save some time? Luckily, there are millions of products out there that make parenting just a little easier. Here are a few products that I have found to be so convenient since my little one arrived! Links to products are included.
A mommy hook. I never leave the house without this on my stroller. It allows you to have a place to put your bags and purse instead of having to hold them while trying to push the stroller. This product also comes in handy when you are trying to unload everything from your car to get in the house. We have even used this to carry all of our grocery bags in before... hey multi-purposing! I love it and would recommend this to every mom! Product here: The Mommy hook
Lil' Helper baby bottle holder. This is such a great product because it literally allows you to feed your baby, hands free. We were always trying to prop her bottle up with stuffed animals or pillows which... never really worked out all that well. This product fits just about any bottle and it sets on their stomach and has handles so they can hold onto it. However, just because it frees your hands up I wouldn't go to far while they are using this. And I say that because if they start coughing with the bottle in their mouth, they obviously aren't strong enough to move the bottle away. Product here: Lil Helper Bottle holder
A cooler bag. This bag is so helpful when you are out and about. With this product, you don't have to worry about the milk spoiling because it hasn't been refrigerated. Not only is this product perfect for traveling, but also when you are just running around town for a couple of hours. I also really like this product because (if you pump or breastfeed) it gives you a place where you can store the fresh milk. Product here: Bottle cooler
Diaper bag with a changing pad. Always having a place you feel comfortable laying your child on to change them is so nice. I have always been grossed out by the changers in public restrooms, so if I have to use one I always always always lay this down first. My diaper bag is from the brand Carters and I love it. Its a good size and there are a lot of pockets to store things in along with the changing pad attachment. Product here: Diaper bag
Tommee Tippee chewther. When I first tried to give my daughter one of the teether's you freeze, she absolutely hated it because it was too cold for her to even touch. She refused to even put it in her mouth. The next day I went out and bought a binky like product from walmart that had a flat circle flap with textures on each side, but she hated that too because it was quite big and went pretty far back in her mouth. So the other day while I was at Tjmaxx I just stumbled upon this product and thought ill give it a try since it was different from the other two products I tried. She loves it! Right now she just has sensitive gums but when she really starts hurting I know I will be so thankful I found a product she likes and can help! I couldn't find this product on-line from Tjmaxx so I will link it for the cheapest website I could find it at. Produce here: Closer to nature chewther
Disposable diaper sacks. About a month ago my mom and I were leaving the mall and my daughter needed her diaper changed. So I pulled out her changing pad and changed her diaper in my car with no problem. However, I quickly realized I had no where to put the dirty diaper and there were no trash cans around. I had to just keep it in my car until we got home, hours later... pretty gross. So while I was at Tjmaxx I also stumbled upon this product and had to purchase it. Its a small product that can easily fit in a diaper bag. I haven't used it yet because I just purchased it but I know I will be glad I did! I was not able to find this on Tjmaxx on-line either, so I have linked the product from Buy Buy Baby. Product here:Disposable diaper bags
